Who are you?
Does it really matter? We are a bunch of guys who love beer — the taste, the occasion, the social character. But we always felt something was missing: where were the truly cool alcohol-free beers? The ones you’d actually choose, not just settle for when you have to drive?
That’s why we started KIU BRU.
We wanted to create brews you can enjoy anytime, anywhere — without the compromises of traditional non-alcoholic beers. Craft, flavor, design, and attitude — everything we love about great beer, just without the alcohol.
It’s actually not about drinking less. It’s about drinking better.
Why are you called KIU BRU?
KIU means “thirst” in Swaheli. What better word to describe a beer, that you can enjoy whenever you feel like it. KIU BRU stands for indulgence at any time and any place without regrets.
What are your plans?
We are currently working on new variety that we will launch early 2026. The idea is to bring the enjoyment of beer to even more people. Be prepared to be surprised.
